Colette Marie Murphy is a writer and educator.
Colette has written a number of short plays, poems, and articles. Whether she is writing a play, a blog post, a poem, an essay, or any other form, Colette approaches each fictional work with a focus on deep character development and a keen ear for dialogue.
Colette has also published academic non-fiction. She earned two Master of Arts degrees: one in Mass Communication and Media Studies and one in Literature and Writing Studies. Colette has worked in both on-campus and virtual academic writing centers as a tutor/consultant, as well as taught post-secondary courses in public speaking, composition, research, popular culture, and similar subjects.
Colette married her husband in 2009, and they have two adorable rescue dogs together.
Colette attempts to maintain a presence on Instagram, but she also knows she’s not very good at keeping up with it (but would still appreciate a follow).
